Here's a big question for you: Magic. It's undiscussed in the FAQ, despite many mythological creatures and classes like 'necromancer' and 'witch'. How heavily will magic play a role in the game, particularly in terms of combat? Will spells be complimentary to other, more mundane skills (like enchanted weapons) or will magic be a primary ability itself ("Lightning bolt! Lightning bolt! Lightning bolt!")?
I can also see some fun effects in terms of the physics engine and the ability to morph the terrain. How about opening up gaping holes under your opponents that are too deep for them to (easily) climb out of?
How about magical wards on your home? I can see putting explosive runes traps on doors, in chests, under the bed, etc. An idea I had yesterday would be to put a rusty old chest out in the middle of nowhere that some intrepid thief would attempt to pick open, only to explode. ;-)
Illusions could be fun, too. "Hark, a rabbit! I'm going to go stab it. AIIIIEEEEE, AMBUUUUSH *explodes*"

Thats a good point. I am sorta hoping that there will be combat magic, because I usually play a mage in MMORPGs but if there isn't, oh well

Thats a good point. I am sorta hoping that there will be combat magic, because I usually play a mage in MMORPGs but if there isn't, oh well The real question will be how central a role magic will play. For example, in World of Warcraft, only two of the classes have no magical abilities (Warrior and Thief), and even then they have nonmagical special abilities that might as well be magical (beserker abilities for Warriors, vanishing abilities for Thieves). Shapeshifting abilities would be interesting. It would be cool if you could temporarily transform into a beast of a particular type based on your alignment/element. I have a 60 Druid in WoW, being able to change my entire skillset based on my current form was a lot of fun and made me extremely versatile in many situations.
